Tim Hargreaves
Director and Insolvency Practitioner
Tim, an insolvency practitioner and Director of the company, trained with one of the “big four” accountancy firms, working in the insolvency department for over ten years. It was here that Tim obtained his insolvency license, which he has now held for over 25 years.
In 1996, he joined a rapidly expanding North West based corporate recovery group, assisting in its growth and development whilst gaining valuable experience in handling cases at a more personal level.
Tim formed T H Associates in October 2003, trading from offices in Leyland, Lancashire, and more recently T H Financial Recovery.
Jonathan Taylor
Director and Insolvency Practitioner
Jonathan, Director and insolvency practitioner, originally joined T H Associates in 2006, having previously worked at a business restructuring and consultancy company. Having passed the JIEB exams, Jonathan qualified as a Licensed Practitioner in 2010. Whilst maintaining a keen interest in business rescue and turnaround work, with around 25 years insolvency and restructuring experience, Jonathan’s primary role is handling formal corporate and personal insolvency appointments.
Outside of the office, Jonathan can often be found falling off his mountain bike somewhere in Rossendale!
Vincent McBrien
Manager
Vincent worked for 2 Manchester based insolvency practices before becoming the senior manager of a busy insolvency practice dealing with corporate and personal insolvency cases.
In 1997 Vincent established his own business to help companies and the self-employed avoid liquidation and bankruptcy, primarily by making use of company voluntary arrangements (CVA) and individual voluntary arrangements (IVA) and worked alongside a number of insolvency practitioners to ensure that the right outcome was achieved for his clients.

On his return to the UK, Vincent worked with a number of businesses as a consultant, several insolvency practitioners and some debt counsellors before joining T H Financial Recovery in January 2018.
When he is not at work, Vincent spends most of his time with his 2 young children.
Scott Simpson
Manager
Outside of work Scott enjoys the outdoors, including various sports, but particularly football and mountain biking, as well as travelling as often as he can.
David Aston
Manager
Although recently retired, David still gets involved at TH, particularly handling historic clients and helping out with first meetings with Directors. David’s strong accountancy background enables him to accurately assess a business’s future viability, identifying any finance needs and restructuring options.
David is a keen and adept gardener, but his other passion is taste testing the local ales!
Geoff Dixon
Business Development
Geoff Dixon has recently joined TH Financial Recovery as part of the Business Development team, bringing with him a wealth of experience in client engagement and strategic growth. With a background in developing strong professional relationships and identifying opportunities for expansion, Geoff plays a key role in introducing the firm’s services to new clients and nurturing partnerships with accountants, advisors, and business owners across the UK.
At TH Financial, Geoff is focused on building long-term relationships and helping clients understand the practical steps available when facing insolvency or financial challenges. His goal is to raise awareness of the firm’s tailored solutions and ensure businesses and individuals are connected with the right support at the right time.
Geoff is also an actor and musician in his spare time and loves to cook up a tasty Italian feast in the kitchen with a glass of vino!
Sam Watts
Senior Administrator
Sam’s an avid Harry Potter fan, and watches at least one film every week!! Her favourite place to visit is of course Harry Potter World. Sam admits she loves wine and cocktails, and can be a giddy annoyance on the countdown to Christmas!!
Toni Hartley
Senior Administrator
Toni has been with the Company for 2 years, and focuses on post appointment case progression and closures. Toni has previously worked in the financial industry for 18 years, including bookkeeping and mortgage administration. In her spare time, Toni is a mum of two boys and has a passion for reading and music. Her all-time favourite film is Dirty Dancing. Toni and her partner love getting away on city breaks as well as hosting dinner parties on the weekends!
