With in excess of 500,000 new cars being sold last month (March), being the the best month within the UK for 17 years, is the car industry revitalised?

Whilst March is commonly a good month for the industry (as new number plates are released), it’s reported that sales growth is 5.3{06aeb1921e0b802d2bd9c766bc98fb11cc6a46c2b0593ed9c88a0e29cf417a34}.

Furthermore, approximately 770,000 new cars were registered in the first quarter of 2016.

Top sellers in March were the Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa and Ford Focus.

The UK car industry has now been growing for four consecutive years, which is believed to be due to cheaper finance and stronger exports.  Will the industry be stifled if the UK leaves the EU?
