La Senza, the high street retailer of lingerie has entered administration for the second time in two years.  As a consequence, approximately 700 jobs are now in danger.

The retailer first entered administration in early 2012, and resulted in the closure of around 80 shops. Following the first Administration process, the company was sold on, but due to ongoing difficulties within the retail sector generally, the business has again encountered financial difficulty.  It is believed that the current administrators are continuing to trade the business whilst a potential purchaser is found.

In addition, last week another high street retailer, Jane Norman entered Administration for the second time.
