Figures for the 2nd quarter have just been released by the Insolvency Service and show total company insolvencies have decreased compared to quarter 1, and are also lower compared to the same period last year.
The decline is in the main due to a reduction in compulsory liquidations, whereas voluntary liquidations (liquidations usually instigated by the company’s members) have remained fairly stable.
