Property prices in the UK increased by 1.7{06aeb1921e0b802d2bd9c766bc98fb11cc6a46c2b0593ed9c88a0e29cf417a34} during the month of June, this being the fourth consecutive monthly rise, according to reports from the Halifax.

This has resulted in a 9.6{06aeb1921e0b802d2bd9c766bc98fb11cc6a46c2b0593ed9c88a0e29cf417a34} rise in average house prices compared to 12 months ago.

It’s believed that low supply and high demand is the driving force behind the rise in value, with property on the market at an all time low.

The Halifax have also estimated that the average home in the UK is now valued at £200,280.
